Will the Palestinians ever have their own state in Israel?

But it’s just make-belief — the Palestinians are a convenient excuse for the shady leadership of various countries to drum up popular support with the public.

No, they probably won’t. They’re kind of just a tool for everyone in the Middle East to get what they want. The leaders of various Arab countries will claim to have sympathy for the Palestinians, as it gives them an excuse to demonize Israel and the West…

You want to know the biggest, most well-kept secret of the Middle-East? No one really likes the Palestinians… Evidently, the Israeli’s don’t. But neither do any of their neighbors. They’ll just pretend to like them whenever it suits their own political goals to come across as caring. There’s zero interest in “solving” the conflict between Israel and Palestine — Israel doesn’t mind the excuse for greater military expenses, which keep it relevant a major regional power player and deters Iran and its proxies from any funny business. The American military industrial complex, likewise, wouldn’t like to lose a major customer. Even the Palestinian leaders, be it Hamas or Fatah, don’t really want hostilities to fully end, as those leaders have been greatly enriched by war.

When Hamas came to power in Gaza, who helped them doing so by undermining Fatah? Israel. Who will speak empty platitudes about Palestine’s plight while simultaneously normalizing trade and diplomatic relations with Israel? The Saudis, the Emirates, Bahrein… Jordan is pretty cozy with Israel, too, helped shoot down missiles from Iran whenever Iran impotently attempts to attack Israel.

You give the Palestinians their own state and stop hostility and a lot of money flowing into the Middle East stops overnight. Arab leaders need to find another new scapegoat that isn’t Israel, American weapons sales go down the drain and the public in various countries may turn on their own leadership… this doesn’t benefit anyone. No one wants a Palestinian state, except the Palestinian people, who are powerless and kept that way by design, and some naive idealists…
